Children are builders, explorers, artists and dreamers who learn best through exploration. At Bluebonnet School, we embrace that journey through a curriculum where literacy, math, music, science and other academic subjects are presented and pursued through carefully designed play-based activities. Children have a natural curiosity about the world around them, which our teachers channel through unique, well-crafted lesson plans that instill a love of learning and maximize every child's youthful energy and spirit. Our caring teachers also strive to build one-on-one relationships with each student and their parents.
Both Bluebonnet School locations are accredited by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), which is widely recognized as the “gold standard” of national preschool accreditations. Bluebonnet School of Cedar Park is also accredited by the NAC (National Accreditation Commission).
What does this this mean for you?
We know that accreditation is a great benefit in maintaining the high quality of care that children deserve and parents want.
In NAEYC and NAC accredited facilities, parents will see much more demanding safety and sanitation practices, frequent personal and empowering interactions between teachers and children, smaller groups sizes, well-trained teachers, community involvement, regular two-way communication with families, nutritious meals and effective administration. All accreditations involve site visits from accreditation agents who visit classrooms, interview teachers, and examine records and procedures. Both NAEYC and NAC have requirements for reporting a facility’s improvements each year of accreditation.
Our voluntary accreditation means that we follow higher standards in our operations than those required by our state licensing with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Service.
