Bluebonnet infants thrive in smaller groups with more teachers. We know that the development of a young child's brain is "a work in progress" which takes years to complete, but that the most significant development takes place before your child is three.
Bluebonnet infant teachers know that early brain development is enhanced by loving and sensitive interactions between the child and caregivers.
Our small group sizes allow our toddler teachers to work with each child individually, to get to know each child, establishing a warm and loving relationship with each child.
Active and curious, toddlers thrive in an environment that is tailored to their specific needs. At Bluebonnet, toddlers are grouped according to age into either our young toddler class for children 18-24months or our toddler program for two’s.
At Bluebonnet School we believe children learn best in a caring environment where there are frequent positive interactions with degreed and experienced teachers.
The program provides a balance of active movement and rest during the program day. Children experience an organized environment and feel secure, relaxed and comfortable as they go about their daily routine.
Bluebonnet’s private kindergarten is a departure from public kindergarten. Your child will enjoy the nurturing, enriching, individualized, warm, inviting environment of our kindergarten class.
Strong individualized curriculum: At Bluebonnet our curriculum is individualized and meets each child’s individual developmental needs. Our program fosters children’s emerging literacy skills, while still giving those beginning readers a strong opportunity to learn and grow in their skills. Mathematics education is a pivotal part of our curriculum, beginning with hands-on activities using manipulative and personal experience to teach mathematical concepts.
Bluebonnet's After School Program is fun and creative, and provides an opportunity for your child to be with friends.
Activities include supervised time on our playground, computer opportunities, art and science projects, ball games, special projects, and homework time.
