For the first school year ever in our over 20 years of operation Bluebonnet School is offering families a true kindergarten for children who turn 5 before September 1.
Smaller Group Sizes Lead to Better Outcomes
Individualized attention and one-on-one interaction can occur effectively only when the group size is small. Children have more opportunities to express themselves and the teacher can listen intensely and give feedback to each child.
The Importance of Choosing an NAEYC Accredited Preschool
Bluebonnet School of Cedar Park has voluntaryily chosen to be accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and has been accredited since 2004. NAEYC is the oldest, largest and best known early childhood program national accrediting agency in the US. In Texas there are over 9000 child care centers licensed by the state, but only about 300 NAEYC accredited early childhood programs.
Waterloo Swimming at Bluebonnet
In summer Bluebonnet teams up with Waterloo Swimming to offer swim lessons here at Bluebonnet’s on site pool. We recognized the high quality and professionalism of Waterloo Swimming and invited Waterloo professionals to teach swim lessons for our children.
Bluebonnet’s Commitment to Music
We believe that music is an important part of each child’s experience at Bluebonnet School. Singing or playing an instrument with others, regardless of age, brings people together. We have seen many times that music can be the spark that ignites a child’s verbal communication and sense of awareness
Chess Is Here
Bluebonnet School has chosen to partner with The Knight School to offer our preschoolers the Little Geniuses program introducing chess.
Drone Video
One of our summer camp sessions recently focused on aviation. A special treat during that session was a visit from a drone hobbyist who demonstrated his drone to our campers.
